Artist History The band Statik was formed in April of 99 in the lovely little town of Madera, Ca. You've heard the story before; four boys in a small town with absolutely nothing to do start a band to occupy their pathetic lives.Statik's music is actually a little more than just something to occupy their time. For them, music is an opportunity to express the things they can't simply say. Statik is more than just noise. Stylisticly Statik is very diverse, but not like many of the newer bands coming from the scene. There is no rap part and then a metal part. The music shows a maturity in songwriting that has been lacking since theemergance of the Korn Bizkit era.
