Artist History Robert Michael James has been recording music since 1985. He won an honourable mention certificate in the Billboard Songwriting Contest for his composition "Kikki". In 1997, he built his own recording studio and subsequently his debut album "Our World" which was completed in 1998. His music is a diversity of different styles but always in a "Pop music" format. Vocal harmonies and strong hooks are always at the centerpiece of his work as well as thoughtful lyrics. "If music be the love of life, play on, give me an excess of it." (Shakespeare)
