He has performed throughout the United States (from Carnegie Hall to the Wild Horse Saloon), South America, Canada, Europe, and the Far East.
He currently plays drums for the 2002 Grammy nominated (Best Contemporary Jazz Recording) George Anderson Signature Band, whose CD received a wonderful review in the March/April 2003 edition of Jazzizz magazine. He also performs with the Prestonwood Baptist Church Celebration Choir and Orchestra. The 20,000 member Prestonwood Baptist Church broadcasts its services every week (nationally and internationally) on Daystar, Hallmark and other television and radio networks.
John would like to continue writing and producing music for various artists while building his music publishing company, Fingerfoot Music (ASCAP). He'll play on the 2003 Ronnie Laws/Tom Browne summer concert tour of the U.S. Future releases include a new CD by Doug Allen, a book he's co-writing with Bernard Wright titled "SEVEN Elements of Music", and his own CD called "Catalyst" featuring Bernard Wright and Mike McKinney.
