TRAX IN SPACE said this about "MIRROR SLAVE" in a detailed review.
[Detailed Review]
Overall Impression: 10/10
Arrangement : 10/10
Comments about Arrangement : Perfect. As good as any hardcore track that I have heard, including anything released on a
record label.
Creativity : 10/10
Comments about Creativity : Full lyrics and great hardcore melody including guitar samples. This is superbly realised track
which stands out from the crowd by some distance.
Sample Quality : 10/10
Comments about Sample Quality : Everything with this screams quality. The vocals sound as though they have been recorded in a
recording studio (perhaps they were) and add immeasurably to the song.
Does It Work as a Piece of Music: Y
Comments about Your Piece's Working as Music: This is the best track I have reviewed to date and is the first to achieve a 10 and it deserves this
accolade. This track would sit proudly on any commercial hardcore album and I just hope it
receives the recognition it deserves on TiS. I look forward to the next release by this artist.
Review : Every so often you are lucky enough to get the chance to review a track that really stands out
from the others and I guess I got lucky with this one. There is no build up at the start of the
track; instead it blasts out from your speakers from the very first second. This is the first track
I have received to review that has had lyrics and they really add to the overall excellence of
the song. This is a hardcore techno/gabba track that has quality stamped all over it and
deserves to be downloaded by anyone who likes their techno hard. I cannot find anything to
fault this on as it is as complete as any track of this type that I have heard, professional or
otherwise. Ignore the size of the download as for this you get a top quality track that is superb
and deserves to receive recognition from all hardcore fans. So give the artist their due and
download this immediately.
[Explanation]
Creativity--How original is the piece? Does the author add new, innovative elements to the piece? Does this music seem to be "ahead" of the rest in terms of stylistic invention? Are the samples/instruments used in unconventional methods?
Arrangement--Technically, how does the author compose the piece? How are the qualities of the transitions?
Sample Quality--How are the qualities of the samples/instruments?
