Artist History John Kilik hails from Gurnee, IL where he began studying piano at age 8. He abhorred his piano lessons until age 17 when suddenly he realized he was getting pretty good. He discovered a profound love of jazz and frequently went to Chicago to see many of the great jazz artists.Later he moved to Memphis,TN and studied with the great Gene Rush. John moved to Myrtle Beach in 97.
