Press Reviews
RP ONE - Review by (american ego) - "Girl Like You" (Radio Edit) "I can see why this is a radio edit.It has a radio friendly sound right from the start.I love the vocal presentation, cool and relaxed. The snare drum needs to be buried a little though,it's too out in front. There is good guitar work by both the lead and bass players, but it's the vocalist that drives the song with his Iggy Pop type delivery. It's so anti-Everclear,I love it.The more disinterested he sounds the better it gets.Overall though, the song just hovers around average. It needs some minor tweaking.5 outta 10 stars."(1/01) |
