Artist description
The Boeing 737 makes music which hovers nervously on the line between lush shoegazing pop, hum-and-strum coffeehouse tunes, and wall-of-noise sensory onslaught. Drawing from a diverse assortment of influences: lo-fi indie rock, free-form jazz, and underground breakbeats, The Boeing 737 produces curious, introspective music shimmering with the beautiful sound of broken guitar amplifiers. |

Artist History
Since 1992 The Boeing 737 has been producing living-room anthems and crudely-devised sonic masterpieces full of swelling noise and intensity. Maximizing the annoyance of roommates and neighbors alike, in 1998 TheBoeing 737 started to put music to tape (or, in this case, to four-track minidisc). Now, nearing the end of 1999, it is time to unleash the result on the world at large. |
