Artist description
Your search is over for earnest music. Star Radio's knack for heartfelt lyrics and gritty pop hooks make them what Neil Gladstone of the Philadelphia City Paper calls "...one of those rare bands that make rock and roll sound exciting again." |

Artist History
Star Radio is from Lancaster, PA. Star Radio has been together since 1997. Shortly after forming, the band crashed out a five song E.P. in three days. The self-titled/slef-released mini-album went on to sell almost 3,000 copies. Their songs recieved extensive play on numerous college stations, including WXPN FM in Philadelphia, where the song "Paris Street" was regularly requested and spun on the nationally syndicated show "World Cafe." Star Radio is currently at work on their anxiously awaited follow up album. The band, also, turns in regular live sets at local legend Chameleon Club, as well as other venues around the Tri-State area. They pour every ounce of themselves into their music and live performances. |
