Artist History Shiver Slinky are a 5 piece band from Leigh and currently play around the Manchester and Wigan area. It all started in 1997. John (Haselden) and Paul (King) had been writing a few tunes to pass some time. Sharing a love of various kinds of music, they drew on these influences to create something unique. From these first sessions were born the songs 'Shibboleth', 'Fade', 'Athelas', and 'Rancid Jubilee'. The two were then drawn to the other members and the band was born. Since then we have gigged quite a bit, bought some recording gear, played a 3 day festival in Paris and will be appearing on a promotional CD from 25records.
