Artist description Ryde was Joel's first band before No Ambition. Ryde recorded seven songs at SoundFarm Studios in Vacaville, CA, out of a total of eighteen original songs in 1998-99 for the album MIDnight Sky. The two band members, Joel and Jeff Rydman, were 17 and 14 years old at the time! Before the CD was completed, Joe Webb was introduced to Ryde, and they went on to form the band called No Ambition!
