Artist History
Originally from Washington D.C., Pamela has been performing in the Bay Area since 1993 opening shows for Linda Perry of Four Non Blondes, songwriter/actress Mare Winningham, and Saturday Night Live's Christine Ohlman in New York City. Discovered by the "Zimmertwins" at Gavin's 1st annual San Francisco music seminar, Martin performed again for SF02 and her song "Echoes" surfaced on the SFO CD - a compilation featuring 18 of the 224 artists performing at the event. In 1998, Pamela was a Lilith Fair finalist, one of 20 performers chosen out of over 800 submissions. Another song, "Presley's Psalm" is featured on a compilation of Bay Area Songwriters based on live performances from "San Francisco Song Cycle" shows. These were round robin performances with all kinds of great talent from across the globe. "Listen", is Pamela's Debut Album and she is currently working on her second CD. |
