Artist History
Ned Lucas has been playing and writing music for 35 years. After making a living as a traveling solo folk/blues performer in the Northeast and Mid- Atlantic states (living in the back of a ‘48 Chevy truck he named Winslo Joshua Armageddon), he took a dozen or so years off to start a family. Six years ago he put a band together in the Syracuse, New York, area and word began to spread that there was a "new" blues guitar-slinger on the scene. With club dates from New Hampshire to Michigan, Ottawa to D.C., and radio air play all around the globe, the word is definitely spreading! But not only can he play great guitar,Ned can also write great, high energy, entertaining blues laced songs that aren't all based on the same three chords! The demand for his originals led to the 1995 self release of his first CD, "Little Shot of Blue". Even with limited distribution, it has received widespread international critical acclaim. With "Drawn To You", his new release on the three snappers productions label, Ned Lucas establishes himself as one of the premier blues songsmiths of this decade. Once again he has "found the vein" to the heart of American blues roots rock. |
