Artist History Having traveled vastly different roads throuhgout their lives, the members of NAiF INTENT were artistically and musically raised in different parts of the world. Everyone eventually migrated to a basement at 12575 Broadwell Rd. Alpharetta, GA., where they turned it up and cranked it out. NAiF INTENT started to evolve in the summer of 1995 when Daniel Wicker, NAiF INTENT's main lyricist and rthymn guitar player & Silvia Wicker, who is orginally from Panama and considered to be the band's accomplice with an altitude, relocated to Alpharetta, Ga. from Jacksonville, Fl. It was there, that the NAiF INTENT wheels started spinning with motion. The newspaper ad read, "Lead guitar player wanted", but, it should have read, "Bass player needed". Michael Sturm, "the guitar extortionist" who hails from Denver, CO. answered the ad. The "stand up" kind of guy he is, realized this, and took to the task of playing bass. And he played his b ass off. But listen closely because, Mikie definitely gets his licks in on songs like "Breakdown", "Crazy Wheel", & Heavy Boots. NAiF INTENT played together for a year, oh so harmoniously, with many very talented, versatile, egotistical, unreliable, dedicated, disorganized, on time, inebriated, straight laced, argumentative, (us included), and did we say "Talented" musicians?...We had plenty of Fun! Then entered Doug Robinson to ensue lead guitar responsiblities. The same Doug Robinson from your home town of Dothan, AL. Dougie, the "Mad Cow". When his first words were, (I swear), "Dude, I just want to be locked in a room with Ozzy, for one day"!, we knew he was the man. Ozzy, are you listening? Shortly thereafter, came Frank Martinez from, you'll never guess where, Jacksonville, FL. Frank uses his impeccable timing, feel, and unwavering consistency to take NAiF INTENT to the edge. But wait, for an extra cool mix, add a dash of Nancy Wilson, (Actworth, GA.), a pound of Joe Cain, (Fayetteville, N.C.), a box of Bill Miller, (Norcross, GA.), and a key of Wesley Swearinger, (Dahlonega, GA). Put it all together and you have the ingenuous design called.........................NAiF INTENT!
