Artist History
Lawrence Martin Minadeo, Music Theory
Mr. Minadeo has a rich and diverse background in music as a performer, teacher and student. He spent his early years at the Cleveland Institute of Music studying piano. He received a B.M. in Theory and Composition/Piano Performance from Cleveland State University. His training includes study with composer Bain Murray, music educator T. Temple Tuttle, pianists - Andrius Kuprevicius, Margaret Baxtresser and Neal Creque. Mr. Minadeo is owner and artistic director of Piano Forté Studio, a digital audio recording facility specializing in the recording, publishing, editing and final mastering of piano performances. Piano Forté Studio has provided music performances and composition services for local and national advertising firms. As a studio teacher, Lawrence teaches music theory, piano, and ethnomusicology with native instruments as diverse as the Japanese Shakuhachi and the Australian Yidaki, better known as the Didgeridoo.
