Artist History I was born in 1962, in Manhattan, New York of Italian Opera singers who immigrated to New York in 1959. Music and singing has been a heavy influence my whole life. My first singing debut was when I was six years old, singing at intermission at one of my father's concerts in front of about 150 people, in which I sang I wanna be a man from Walt Disney's production of the movie Jungle Book. From that day forward I was hooked. Growing up in a middle class family, and going to school I was involved with school choirs, in the fourth grade I took up the trumpet. I played trumpet for ten years. In that time period I played with school bands, orchestras, and other events. Reaching my teenage years rock & roll had a big influence on me, and wanting to go back to what I loved best which is singing, I formed my first rock band when I was 15, called Northern Lights, playing top 40 rock songs. I was involved with various bands throughout that time period. Then in the summer of 1979 when I went to Florence, Italy to visit my cousin (who was a guitar player) he introduced me to the music from bands such as Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, and Judas Priest. From that day forward Hard Rock became my only passion. In coming back to the states I knew it was time for me to form a hard rock band. After playing with some other bands I formed my own band, called "Kingsevil", and our primary function was original music with some cover tunes mixed in. We played the New York circuit for a period of three years, and in that time period we made five music videos (nothing fancy) that appeared on MTV basement tapes. A segment on amateur bands. In time, personality differences led to the band reforming, cutting out the rhythm guitarist, and replacing the drummer, renamed the band "THUNDER". WE continued to play the New York circuit, and recorded seven original songs. Shortly there after, the lead guitarist got involved in a relationship, and left the band, which broke down the band creativity, and which I could not replace. I then moved to Florida where I started a family, and sang with a local band for a few months singing hard rock. Having children took me out of the band scene for a while. Not that I needed a special time or place to sing. In time, being frustrated with the inability to find musicians, it came from within me to write songs, and somehow play all the instruments myself for recording purposes. In the past four years I've put a lot more effort into playing guitar for the sake of being able to write songs with accompaniment, and putting them on tape. Truely a One Man Band!!!!
