Artist History
Started Tracking since 98 with Impulse Tracker later i discovered Rebirth and started composing songs with it around 99 until i got bored of that program (because its way too limited!) i returned to trackers, but now more advanced windows stylee (ModPlug) and started experimenting with soft-synths like Simsynth to make my own sounds (if theres one thing i hate, are to use only preset sounds with preset fx configurations). After that i discovered a lot of new software, from Fruity Loops to Buzz. So all these years ive been composing with only software, for me its just better than analogue equipment, because you have the same sound but controlled better, and i spend my money on buying records rather than buying xpensive samplers and synths. My favorite software actually is Cubase Vst, with synthesizers like Mercury and Waldorf, there are nice samplers like Vsampler and Halion, and bunch of vst fx... Reason is also i nice piece of soft making your own patches and connecting everything with everything is great, but the lack of different machines and fx still is a strong limitation, i will better wait for Reason with VST... The other excellent Freeware peace of soft is a program developed by a spanish guy (Arguru), the program is called Aodix, if you dont have money to buy Cubase, you can use aodix and have the same quality! |
