Artist History Depresion was founded in 1993. The first Demo - W.H.Y. recorded in December 1994 sold itself more than 800 times and received very good critics worldwide. Deathvastation Prod. re-released it in 1995 as a Split with "Infanticide". Distributed by Morbid Rec. it was sold worldwide about 1.000 times. In January 1996 the self produced - self released debut "Mindgate" which is also distributed by Morbid Rec. In 1998, after the departure of long time singer Milan and drummer Alex, Depresion got Barney (formerly in "Feverish Dreams" a local Death Black Band) as a new singer and Mac (formerly in "Steinvater" a local Thrash Band) as a new drummer. Depresion played more than 100 gigs europewide. Among others with bands like: Death, Benediction in Prague for more than 5.000 people, Cannibal Corpse, Krabathor, Immolation, Vader, Therion, Purgatory,... Depresion with one s is the old-german spelling for Depression.
