Artist description When comparing THE TRYP's music with movies you would probably end up with films like „Amelie“, „Dancer in the dark“, „Night on earth“, „Fargo“ or even „Twin peaks“ as comparison material. While the music paints beautifully colored pictures, at the same time there is always a scent of melancholie underneath. No happy end garanteed. The songs of the new album „Human animal„ tell of Love, Desperation, Happiness and Frustration. The Tryp get their inspiration out of many different musical genres like nu jazz, electronic pop, psychedelic rock, new wave, drum n bass and house. They hardly ever copy anyone or anything, even coversongs like „White rabbit“ are being shown in a completely different light in order to shine in THE TRYP's color world.
