Artist History
A prominent party force on Northwestern's campus for three years now, Tippler is prone to dragging hundreds of kids out to random venues in the middle of nowhere for the sole purpose of dancing and drinking. What bastards. |

Group Members
Chris Vlasses bangs the drums and rips his vocal cords on the raps (ala dulcinea). Ryan Highland leads while he sings and follows when he strums. Matt Heslinga rocks on the lead guitar, while Brian Sullivan jumps up and down like an (entertaining) idiot. He also plays bass. Jason Hanggi bangs on many kinds of drums, and is gosh-darn proud of it. |

Press Reviews
"University party band mixes melodic vocals and rhythmic rapping with a jammed out, happy sound. Their peppy, funk-influenced songs are perfect for drinking, dancing, and ignoring the price tag of a decent education." -- Listen.com __ __ "Tippler's sound is a fusion of popularized alternative sounds and classic jam rock. Their lyrics often resemble the quirky, intelligent prose of Soul Coughing while their improvised jams borrow from the purest of late 60's and early 70's funk." -- Centerstage.net |
