Artist History
The multi-genre band has been in existence for 2 ½ years, and in that time have built a sizeable following in Albuquerque and are continuing to do so in surrounding cities such as Denver, Phoenix, Flagstaff, Tucson and El Paso. Stretch has been influential in making Albuquerque’s music scene what it is today, a place that is SCREAMING to be looked at for it’s amazing musical talent. A budding music scene which once truly discovered will put some A&R rep on the map nationally. Of the amazing talent in this city Stretch is definitely one to keep your eye out for. Formed in early 1997 as a 3 piece, with the recent addition of Damian Wilson to the lineup, the band's on stage sound and persona stuns audiences. Stretch rocks, they're not the band next door or even the band 2 doors down. You need Stretch. |

Press Reviews
"Behold! Rife 4 1/2 chord rock that'll make you want to do splits high in the air. Their debut album, ‘It's a Band.....Dammit!’ is jam packed with 17 tight and mighty songs complete with hooks, lines and more hooks - a big fat good time for all who cross its path.....dammit!" - Static Magazine""Who says you have to stick to one particular genre? …their atypical combination of surf tunes, old school punk and rock creates a true renaissance of music." - Weekly Alibi |
