Artist History In the early 1990s, Brian took a trip to Costa Rica and recorded several tapes of various environmental sounds and instrumental and vocal performances in and around the Orosi Valley, with some of the recordings taken in the ruins of an old church. I went through all of these tapes and made a collection of excerpts and edited each of them so that volume and pitch were equalized, etc. I later burned them onto a CD, made multiple copies of the CD and installed them in several CD players.
