Artist History
Jacqueline Wales was born in Edinburgh and moved to London at the end of the l960’s. During the seventies she worked for groups like Mott the Hoople and Soft Machine before changing direction and taking a degree at North London Polytechnic. She moved to San Francisco en route to Australia but stayed in California for seventeen years. She now lives in Paris, France. While in Los Angeles she studied with John Deaver, vocal coach to the stars. Performing at clubs like Luna Park in West Hollywood, Jacqueline began writing her own material in collaboration with John resulting in the release of her first album in l999 Secrets of the Sun. She has just appeared in an independent French film called ‘Les nuits de les Indiens’ directed by Georges Sziga, performing the tracks ‘Fade to Black' and 'Angels of the City' from her album Secrets of the Sun. She will also be featured on the French television network Canal Plus. |
