Artist History Gropius as Educator began by reading and re-reading Giedion and studying lost arts and anthropology beginning in 1991. Gropius joined with The Yankee Martinez (from L.A.'s emo acoustic slide rockers Hyde and the Park Furious) during 1997 and began performing its sonic research into energy states and aural consciousness modality theory. Gropius is currently based in Westchester, CA.
