Artist History Budha Building is a solo project by Hans Timmermans from Tilburg, who is also a member of the band S.I.T.P.. A previous release "Sounds of the Abnormal Heart" attracted good reviews, for example; "This is not cliche ambient, unlike what we’ve been subjected to by English acts of late." Hans creates atmospheric collages with samples, sequences and synthesizer sounds. Recently he has become more Techno-orientated, which has led to him being described as a "dance version of Ryuichi Sakamoto’s Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.". He performs live regularly, supporting the likes of Kong, Hawkwind, Shine and Grotus, and has played at various festivals. His work has appeared on several compilations such as "Mind the Gap", the CD accompanying the magazine Gonzo Circus. Hans is now ready for greater things. Budha Building has come of age!
