    Artist History
The AIRE'N TERRE birth took place in Recife, by 1992, when Wandeclayt M. and Aze Von Helder (both studying Electronics) first met in the corridors of Federal Technical School. They were already into EBM, Technopop and Goth at that time and had many things in common like the interest for astronomy, technology and new challenges. However only five years later, then with more than simply tastes in common (they had gotten some musical knowledge and instruments), Wandeclayt and Aze gathered to form the group. They started as many other groups, making covers of their favorite act. Depeche Mode provided the songs and EBM gave them the inspiration. That phase lasted just for a few months and basically served to consolidate their convictions about the project's future. Now the duo has its own songs and they ready to attack the electronic music scene. To help them with that task, they decided to build their Online HQ (http://listen.to/airenterre). Thus, they could allocate their songs, pictures and complete biography and spread their ideas further. "Noise turning into melody, hits turning into music" describes well the AIRE'N TERRE style and essence: danceable, dark, and melodic EBM merged to experimentalism, criativity and self-sufficiency.
