Artist History
Ultraviolet's success is built on a long and fruitful musical history. Guitarist Kieran Clair and long-time writing partner Sean Riordan have rejoined after both had stints in London, recording with producers such as Mitchell Davis (Buzzcocks, Transvision Vamp). Drummer Darren Riordan, formerly of Triple J Unearthed runners-up Hoover, and bass player Ross Geddes provide the percussive punch. |

Press Reviews
Their debut EP, Life Gone Grey, released in 1998 through Oracle, caught the attention of local industry players. Featuring the tracks "Piece of the Action" and "Captivate", the EP was described by Time Off as a "credible blend of juicy pop sensibilities and catchy harmonies". Rave went even further: "Soaring and atmospheric. Should be on the radio." And on the radio it was. |
