Artist History
The Plywood Staircases began in around 1984, the group was often made up of different members, and recordings were made just about anywhere possible. Most songs were written (lyrics & music) in about 10-15 minutes, then recorded (usually live)immediately, in 2 or 3 takes. The song writting was often done in a "stream of consciousness" style. As the years progressed, the equipment and the abilities got better. They still do some of the "stream of consciousness" stuff, but as a whole, now, the music is well thought out, and well produced. |
