Artist description
Derek DePrator is a multi-instrumentalist who's been into the folk tradition since the age of 13. His first songs were written from adapting traditional lyrics found in books written by people like Pete Seeger and Alan Lomax, sometimes updating them, and writing new music. Since then he's taken on the responsibility of carrying on the folk tradition here in Cleveland. Also playing guitar for such bands as The Tellers and Cobra Verde. |
