Artist description
Tantor comes from a part of Southern California that is bursting at the seams with punk bands, but they're ready to flee the homeland in order to share their unique style of punk rock with the rest of the country -- they just completed playing the entire Warped Tour 2002 on the punkrocks.net stage. The band works hard to make each of their songs a unique masterpiece, and while they try to stay true to the "new-school" punk style that lured so many of us in to the scene, they also draw from plenty of other musical influences, which helps to keep their music interesting. While Tantor's vocals are on the melodic side, the band tries to stay away from the "emo" or "pop-punk" side of things. They would never be classified as a hardcore or metal band, but a lot of Tantor's stuff is very edgy, and occasionally they'll throw a breakdown or split guitar riff at you that'll make you wonder.
