Artist History
Stew has been in creation since 1995. Jeremy formed it in St. Cloud MN. Stew has been through many changes before reaching its current line up. From a dream, to a two person project in a garage, to a four piece, to a trio, and finally to its current nine member ensemble. The idea was to involve the members of the band with equal input about the creative process to the extent that they wanted to participate in, allowing expression in performance and show variety. Stew creates music for the performer and the listener. The majority of the current members have been with the band since the start of ’98. The name “stew” reflects the many styles and layers as it keeps a common sound and a form of music, a stew. |
