Artist History
My musical career started as a child learning piano. I had a teacher who didn't appreciate my ability to memorize a song and then be able to play it "by ear". When I was in Junior School I learned from my dad how to play the trumpet which I liked. Then in Highschool they needed saxophone players so I learned how to play alto sax and played in the Highschool Band. I sang solo's, duets, and sang in choir most all my life. I took up the guitar back in 1998. I was going through a very low point in my life and I found that strumming a few chords helped to calm my spirit. The first song I ever made was one i called Friends Together. I found that by using "D","G", and "A7th", I could made my own song. From there I have now have more than fifty of my own songs. I call them, "Songs Of Joy & Deliverance". People ask me where I got them and i tell them, "Hot Off The Holy Spirit's Press". I play mostly in nursing homes and our church services. I have now my own website called,"Live-it" Not "Die-t". I also have a 900 number that I call "The SingingLaughline". More information is available at my webpages. |
