Artist description Shooting Rubys have created a Power Pop / Rhythm Rock / Alternative sound using melody, mature arrangements and vocal harmonies. Each member sharing in the song writing and singing, bringing together four separate voices, letting each track stand on it's own. To date Shooting Rubys have collaborated on over 50 songs with a wide variety of distinctive styles. Always evolving, always diverse. Sliding easily from up-tempo guitar twang to mellow acoustic strumming, to a hard edge crunch. A long collective history of stage experience, playing in various bands and projects has contributed to giving the band a great versatility and confident stage show. The underlying objective of the band is to keep writing songs that feel right, as opposed to tailoring a song to fit a specific genre or appeal to a certain market.
