Artist description
Robbie Burlin left his small town of Salamanca NY right out of highschool in 1974 for the San Francisco Bay area. He had his mind blown by the music scene and of course the Grateful Dead. On New Years Eve 1979-1980 while at a Dead show he was inspired to play music and that was 20 years ago. What a long strange trip it has been. Today he is back in Salamanca living a simple life with a dream of playing music for the world. People come and people go but the music never stops. The Robbie Burlin Band is waiting for the stars to line up in the right positions and the magic combination of people to come together and to be taken to the leader of the band. Robbie is bringing concious and fresh material forward. Mostly original but those Grateful Dead and Bob Marley tunes keep creeping up. When he goes we all go. The best is yet to come. |
