Artist History
RED LIST was formed in 1999 by Dave Smallburn, Volker Vee Van Wenzel and Steven Mightyhomer, following several years of studio productions under the name MADDOX.After recording 4 demo songs in "Studio 19" in Böblingen, West Germany, produced by Smallburn, the band promptly landed their first single deal with Polydor in May 1996.The single "Sister" was played more than 70 times weekly in Germany only four weeks after being released, and is still being played by radio stations nationwide. The song fell victim to an organisational shake-up at Polydor, in which several A&R teams got axed together with the new artists they signed, a shame considering the fact, that the single had received hardly any promotion and had wildly exeeded all expectations in every respect.Following personnel changes and freshly produced material, RED LIST is again looking for a record company for a mutually successful and productive partnership for now and the future. Also visit our STUDIO 19 homepage at www.studio19.de! |
