Artist History CARS and GIRLS is a modern day NYC alternative band.Experienced with recordings and live shows, CARS and Girls is very adamant about their universal sound. Through all of their songs the drums are impassioned, the guitars are expansive and unconventional, and the vocals are gritty and identifiable. The chaos, hectic pace, claustrophobic conditions, and frenetic glitz of the city they inhabit resurfaces in their songs. Those are the ingredients that set CARS and GIRLS apart. They are taking lives that could be boring and normal and are using their music to turn them inside out. The members of this band share the same musical vision. Constant recreation is required. The only rule for their songwriting process is that they spend their time creating music that is sonically challenging but still radio friendly. Within those parameters they let the music grow organically, experimenting with sounds and emotions.
