Artist History Jack Has formed an independent record label known as Cool Gator Records. Jack Has always been interested in various instruments since the age of 12. He has giged with such famous performers such as Philip Bailey and Larry Dunn of Earth Wind And Fire.It was not until 1989 some twenty years out of music industry , did Jack come alive musically: He began to write at a feverish pitch. This resulted in the release of his first ever solo album, entilted Jack Lee Gates From The Other Side, the formation of his record label Cool Gator Records and the signing of a multi year contract with 3M Sound Products, 3M Corporation. Jack has since released his second album entilted Jack Lee Gates One Day Past Forever. His third album which is titled Lost for words and New release City of dreams are now top selling Jazz CDs at MP3.com.

Jack Lee Gates shows that talented vibe most predominantly. The smooth rhythm and groove of these musical compositions is truly enjoyable. Jack uses a classical jazz feel and combines it with modern technologies to create a superior style of jazz. This style can only be call the Jack Lee Gates style. Over the years, I've been honored to review some of the best jazz albums around. Jack Lee Gates is one of those who falls into that category. His smooth contemporary sounds are melodic and refreshing. His music is medicine for the soul. I do not dare compare Jack to any other jazz artist, because he is truly an original. Although his style of music shows many different influences, Jack Lee Gates can securely stand on his own. That is what is so beautiful about jazz music. There are really no boundaries. The music can take you anywhere you want it to go. The compositions are just a tool to help you free your mind and soul. Jack makes it easy for the listener to use his music as a tool for just such a journey. So if you love great music, if you love great jazz, Jack Lee Gates is an artist who will not disappoint.
