Artist History As a 26 years old, Random's sound has evolve along with the sound of drum'n'bass today. He started by producing a harder techno influenced d'n'b and now, 5 years later, has definitely find his own sound. His sound is basically what he called good vibe, sexy drum'n'bass. He's a firm believer in taking notes from other musician, regardless of genre. He cited, London Elektricity and all the roster of Hospital Records, along with the likes of Lil' Louie Vega, Kenny 'Dope' Gonzalez, MJ Cole, Miguel Migs, and many more as his influences and source of inspirations. With fellow Jungle Voodoo member Mr. Bitter, Random started his own collective Nu Phunk Operation (NPO). Now 4 members strong, NPO has positioned themselves at the forefront of soulful, melodic drum'n'bass in Los Angeles area. Future releases are in the work from several labels including Nu Phunk Operation Recording, Significant Audio and JVR.
