Artist description EPD is tough to pin down, as the band utilizes many different styles engineering its sound, and easily slips back and forth between simple catchy techno and deeply experimental downbeat trips. The unifying factors are the band's focus on hypnotic and organic sounds, and the slow progressive minimalistic development of themes. These themes, sometimes layered, subliminal, subtle and beautiful, other times harsh and overt, seldom stay still, prefering rather to build gradually. EPD draws from a wide range of influences; IDM, triphop, dark abmient, and dream trance to name just a few.
