Artist History
In the fall of 1998, local music veteran Michael Oxenrider (ex-Hush) and scenester newbie Michael Hamrick were trying unsuccessfully to start a band. Lacking direction, and more importantly, a drummer, the pair had decided to call it quits. However, fate intervened in the form of a chance meeting between Oxenrider and ex-Bedford Falls drummer Anthony Smith. The two discussed musical philosophies and goals over cheese fries at the local Utopia Diner, and by the time the check arrived they had decidedto play together and see what might come of it. Michael Oxenrider brought in Christian Russell, an ex-bandmate from Hush, to fill out the quartet. In the fall of 99 Michael Hamrick left the band. His spot was filled by local music enthusiast J. Charles. |
