Artist description
Behold the return of the Big Rock Sound. Citing influences such as Tool, Radiohead, King Crimson, and Fuel, Scream Radio's music sparkles with innovation and rock sensibility -- guitars crash, bass and drums writhe, keyboards sparkle and thunder, and Robert Owen's commanding, impassioned voice tears out lyrics about the forgotten strength of the human soul. With a blistering live show, Scream Radio has developed a solid following across the West Coast. |

Artist History
Scream Radio arose from the ashes of "Thin Black Line" in 1997, and was further catylized with the arrival of Mesa and Simon Grant. Their 1998 Hipsync Records single, "Never Coming Down", spent 17 months in heavy rotation on the DISH Network Power Rock channel, (120 million listeners worldwide). In 1999 the group secured venture capital and formed Exhibit-A Records and Friday Deadline Music, and began work on their debut album, "Scar the Shell", with producer Jason Shavey who's credits include LoveMongers and Jerry Cantrell. Scream Radio toured regularly across the West Coast and still has a world-wide fan base. |
