    Artist History
Ben started playing guitar around the age of 13 then later at Long Beach High School became best friends with Chris and Danny. Of course, Chris decided he wanted to play guitar too and so Ben showed him a few chords and taught him how to read guitar tablature. Somehow they made it to college and met Jake. Eventually Jake, Ben, and Chris wound up in Mobile and for fun they would play live gigs with friends changing their name each time they played. Some of the names they played under were Drilldo, Clitallica, Billy Jack Justice and the Bushogs, Stool, etc. In their spare time Ben and Chris wrote, recorded, and produced everything on their first album, The Diary of Clone #9, at home using Ben’s Roland VS880EX home studio. It has 9 songs and is a concept album about human cloning that has heavy guitar sounds mixed with space-age instrument effects, sound bites, and vocal effects, resulting in heavy kick ass music with a futuristic feel. Ben uploaded the first album to MP3.COM in July of 1999 under the band name , Clone #9. Chris and Ben wanted to perform live shows so naturally Jake and Danny joined . They later recruited local drummer extraordinaire Trebor Genry. They played the Kaley Hollis benefit concert in Pensacola, FL. with this lineup. Eventually Jake and Danny moved on and so were replaced by Andy and Damon. The band didn't want to be labeled as a concept band and so changed their name to ORIFICE (which they later found out was already taken and so they added the "Dr."). The band worked on the “Y2Kiss My ORIFICE” album for most of the year 2000 and finally completed and released it in December of 2000. In 2001 Chris finished residency and moved to Florida...the band fell apart and ben recruited new musicians to rebuild the band from scratch. They have had 20 #1 songs at MP3.COM and had the #1 selling CD becoming THE top ranked hard rock/metal band on the site receiving widespread acclaim.

    Press Reviews
JINGO says, "If you want some hopeless shit that will make you wonder why you didn't do yourself a favor and wake up dead, ORIFICE is for you. Once again, it is the middle of the night, and I am wasted, and ORIFICE is in my headphones. Gloom, despair and a general feeling of unease smother me like a wet blanket. I wonder if I will make it, or if I even want to. TRY IT! It's pretty cool.", Fredrik from Sweden says, "Wow!!!Great!! I must say that i love this song. The lyrics are fantastic, so whoever wrote it i think he/she have a big future in songwriting. Your 'sound' is good, it really rocks, here in Sweden we love that kind of'sound'. Guitar playing is outstanding tell the guitar player that he/she donīt have to practice anymore, he/she is now a expert guitar player like Yngwie Malmsten. And i havenīt forgot the drums, they sounds real heavy and cool. So what i want to say with all of this is that u are going to be stars. And no matter what other people say i belive in u, and remember that iīm your greatest fan. Peace, take care and rockon!! ,Team Faithgroove says "If you can't feel the power of Lord *RIFICE, then you must either be in a deep sleep or dead. If you're into r(sh)ock treatment and some heavy metal deliveries, Orifice offers them up on a silver platter. I liked "Maybe" the most although all of the songs are well produced with great guitar. "This isn't my style of music but if you like in-your-face-bitch-ass-loud-hard-rock then you will LOVE this band""Mommy! Mommy! He said a bad word!""Whoa these guys are nuts and I love it!""God's a F** has to be the single most offensive song I have ever heard. This is pure crap. I just hope God will forgive me for listening to it""In my opinion this is Led Zepplin meets Black Sabbath yet retains an original concept. Interesting stuff" "Their song Ton of Bricks makes me want to do naughty things. Very good indeed :-) ""Some people may think they sound a little like Marylyn Manson but believe me these guys would bend him over and spank his sorry ass"
