Artist description
Mix Einstein's vision with Van Gogh's passion , throw in some conventional musical instruments...and you may find yourself within earshot of One More Astronaut . Based in L.A., the band is currently finishing their first CD "Constellation Prize" and their first single has gained airplay on several radio stations across the country. J.T. (vocals / bass) & Keith (guitar) have been playing together for several years supporting a wide variety of other artists. Discouraged by the lack of imaginative music, they began to write and record. John (drums) joined this dynamic duo in the Fall of 1999 and the group was instantly formed with one goal in mind: create innovative and contemporary music while maintaining a strong tie to the foundation of rock and roll . Their debut single "The Stall" took MP3.com's Alternative charts by storm. Although comparisons have been made to STP, Collective Soul, Creed & Live, the trio's sounds are truly imaginative and diverse. From the soulful ballad "Chloe" to the hard driving, jackhammer guitar riffs of "Grit" this band will meet all of your needs. If you have been looking for a real experience explore OMA - you won't be disappointed. |
