Press Reviews
Review of "Leader of the Pack" from "Music Revue" June, 2001
This disc has so much energy it just about jumps out of the CD player- fast, ferocious, and unyielding, this contemptuous four-piece blasts away con-punk prejudices with loud amps and even louder attitude. The maniacal drum intro of the opener, "Thank You, I’m Fine," sets a high-intensity benchmark that continues throughout the remaining 11 tracks. Matt Helt’s vocals are a cross between early Faith No More’s Chuck Mosley and Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl - a tone that gives the impression Helt is bored with life but violently mad about that fact. Easy listeners, steer clear - these bastards will run you off the road.
