Artist History
Nicholas Hennies recently received his M.A. in percussion from UC-San Diego
where he studied and performed with legendary percussionist, Steven Schick. He has performed with Tucker Dulin, Mike Bullock, David Gross, Bhob Rainey, Charles Curtis,
and was a founding member of the 4th Epicycle Improvisation Ensemble in St. Louis, MO. Hennies
now lives with his wife in Austin, TX where he plays in the group Weird Weeds and with many local and visiting improvisers.
