Musical Influences every musician in the band has got his influences but we all have enjoyed from James Brown to Spyro Gyra, 70Th funk, George Benson, the 90Th Acid JaZZ and from Bach to Paco de Lucia.

Artist History Mr.Soul with the actual members was born in 1995, but the band exists since 1986.At this time we played songs of James Brown, Johnny Guitar Watson, Temptations etc and original songs of the band. During this years many musicians have played with us. In the 90's we have changed the style from soul to more jazzy and funky and we have started to play our music basically. Five songs of Volume 1 our first CD where recorded in 1996 at Kei Macias studios and five in 1998/99 at Music Lan studios http://www.musiclan.com in L'Emporda, fantastic region of Catalunya (Spain).This CD is plenty of powerfull Hammond B-3, Moog, Rhodes, guitar, sax, piano and flute solos and also we have used other sintes like Novation Bass Station.Groove the last CD is now under construccion...Joan Dalmau and LLuis Bonaventura are hard workingin this new project and we hope to have it in spring of 2001...good musicians will be there.

Group Members Joan Dalmau as guitar, Xavi Compte as piano & Keyboards, Carlos Albaladejo as Bass, Carles Simon as drums, Jorge Cuzcueta as saxos. Salvador Pares has played addicional recordings on flute, Freddy Solves has played all Hammond & Moog solos and Jordi Cristau has played piano solo of Take it easy song.
