Artist History
I started composing my own tunes back in the very early 1980's... Possibly even as early as 1978 or 1979. I actually have that stuff recorded and thought I might actually MP3 it for gags later on.Eventually, in 1985 or 1986 I graduated from "boom box cassette" recording to 4 track! Then, the music took on a whole new life, sounding better than it ever had before. At some point, I decided to work on a Christmas album and got one song finished, then dropped recording altogether for the better part of 5 years, except for the occasional "let's play an old tune and see if we can add any more parts to it" game. Then in 1999, I bought the Fostex FD-8 digital multitracker. Finally a quality recording device that you can use to produce great sounding songs, in stereo, without adding tons of noise, and I was on my way to what you have here today. My first project was to take some of the old stuff I had worked on for nearly 20 years and try to "finalize it". Stage 2 is recording and making available the Piano music I've been working on for the past 4 to 5 years. |
