Artist History From her first solo performance at an artists' session in Kingston, Jamaica, Jess Klein has garnered praise and loyalty from audiences around the country, playing such venues as the Bottom Line (NYC), C'est What (Toronto ON), The Paradise (Boston MA), and the Middle East (Cambridge MA) to name a few. The 1998 release of Jess' debut CD, "Wishes Well Disguised," was celebrated with two sold-out shows at the legendary Club Passim in Cambridge MA. And in the first 3 years of her career alone, she has opened for Dan Bern, Moxy Fruvous, Vance Gilbert, Catie Curtis, Ani DiFranco, Ellis Paul, Martin Sexton, 10,000 Maniacs, Andy Stochansky and many more. Fans and critics alike show enthusiastic support for this emerging artist. Music director Marilyn Rae Beyer (WUMB 91.9fm) explains it simply, "We have seen the future, and it is Jess."
