Artist History Wandering, in a way that would appear to be aimlessly, I stumbled into the world of MUSIC... It was a dark & stormy night. I sat, inert, FINGERS poised to dance effortlessly above the obviously carefully thought out & assembled appartus that was my keyboard. Suddenly, I was aroused from my daze; it was nothing (those darned FRENCH!). Nothing more than that intolerable sensation that everyone must endure upon realizing that their bladder will hold no more. Yes, I had the BLUES. & so I rose, barely noticing, & proceeded to execute the steps that would relieve the sensation. Little did I know that the relief would not come for yet another 60 or so minutes (incedentally, do you know how many FRIES are cooked in an hour at McDonald's™? No? Me neither...). Because, upon exiting the room, my eyes fell upon that, OH, unholiest of man's creations -- the TV. This night, however, the devil's hand was elsewhere, for the TV was radiating something different, something not unholy, something that had originated far from the BONE waste land of hell; something good. For a moment I stopped, then proceeded. Then stopped again, & looked. The SOUNDS washed over me & the image burned into my subconscious. There I stood for the next hour of my life, not thinking, not breathing, not anything; & ABSORBED... From that experience on, I have strived to attain the level of mastery that the master himself, SRV, proceeded to exhibit in 1983 in Austin, Texas. 'The lord works in mysterious ways'.
