Press Reviews
DIRTY LINEN MAGAZINE 1999Celtic Soul, Takin' Down the Half-Door -“Celtic Soul, a group composed of transplanted Celts and U.S. natives steeped in Celtic tradition, plays energetic rocked-up versions of trad tunes as well as their own originals in the same style. High-energy performers who bring a fresh touch to this often explored territory, the Jacksonville, Florida-based group has translated that enthusiasm to their debut self-produced CD with cuts including "Spancil Hill/Tam Lin" and "Morrison's Jig/Battering Ram." |
