Artist History Blueryder is a York band originally founded by Steve and Rich. After meeting briefly at a venue in Leicester it wasn't until both moved to York for completely unrelated reasons that they met up again in the foyer of a cinema and started the band on the spot. In February 1999, Christophe, replying to an advert for a bass player, arranged a meeting and joined the band that night. There was no need to hear him play - there was just a good vibe! Blueryder was regularly playing at the Rock Cafe as a threesome. At one of the jam nights, Dave picked up some sticks and the rest, as they say....
